The GHL is owned and operated by a group of five Executives who have been doing this together for almost 20 years!

Tammy was an original Hamilton GHLer who had to hang up the skates a few years back. Nowadays, while balancing her busy career as an operations manager for Waste Connections, she coordinates our evaluation night and helps herd the cats known as the rest of the Executive. 

Derrell Smith

A retired human resources manager, Derrell is the GHL’s resident historian and perhaps its biggest fan.  Derrell has been with the league since its first season in Hamilton in 2005-2006. He stays on top of all our stats and organizes jersey design and acquisition. The GHL’s Ambassador, he’s the guy to go to if you want to know what the GHL is all about.

A retired financial advisor, Brad was a regular referee for the GHL in our first few years in Hamilton who graduated to not just head referee and scheduler extraordinaire, but also our bean counter. If you would like to be a ref or give us money, drop Brad a line!

Owner of Darkwing Handyman Services, Chris started with the GHL at our sister league in Niagara and now plays in our semi pro division. His kids used to scorekeep for the league and now he helps train and coordinate our scorekeepers.  Contact him if you want to help out! 

Amanda Williamson

Amanda started her hockey career with GHL Niagara far longer ago than she would like to admit and selected her future husband at the second GHL Hamilton draft! Nowadays she is known for overthinking trades (ok, not just trades), sending punny emails, and bringing a cute kid to games to increase her own popularity.
